The Value of Negative Feedback |
|
| |
Negative feedback - news about what you are doing wrong - is the most useful kind of feedback organizations can receive. Senge, and Katz and Kahn, indeed all "Systems Thinkers" recognize feedback to be an essential organizational input. As organizations develop the ability to tune into and utilize a broader range of feedback sources, they enhance their ability to proactively adapt to their environment. As organizations disregard any source of feedback, they reduce their ability to adapt, and also their ability to succeed.
